AROUND NOLA: DTB to Host Union Wine Pairing Dinner

DTB, whose restaurant ambiance interlaces rustic elements with modern, polished décor, invites Oregon-based craft wine producer, Union Wine Co., to host an exclusive wine dinner on Sunday, August 6, 2017. Union Wine Company’s Director of Winemaking, JP Caldcleugh, will offer locally-distributed wine varietals to pair with light, palatable fare by Chef Carl Schaubhut.

The wine dinner will begin with a welcome reception at 6:00 PM. Before the first course is served at 7:15 PM, Chef Carl Schaubhut and JP Caldcleugh will engage guests with conversation, highlighting the food and wine being served. The menu will include five savory passed amuse, and one dessert paired with botrytized Riesling. Seating is very limited and reservation is required, please contact (504) 518-6889. Priced at $85 per person, excluding tax and gratuity, the five-course dinner menu and coupled wine selection is as follows:
